- The King of Pop may be gone, but that doesn't mean we don't plan on keeping his memory alive through music. It's been about two weeks since it was first announced that a Michael Jackson tribute concert was in store for the people of Cardiff, Whales, but there has been no word as to who would actually be performing...until now! It has been confirmed that The Voice judges Christina Aguileraand Cee Lo Green will both be participating in this sure to be memorable event. The list doesn't end there though. Two other artists that will be taking part in Michael Forever—The Tribute Concert on Oct. 8 are Leona Lewisand the band Alien Ant Farm (they did a cover of Smooth Criminal which is played in American Pie 2). No other announcements have been made so far, but if Michael's legendary concerts have taught us anything, it's that the show is guaranteed to be a spectacular event. - E!
- I guess all those anorexic habits are finally paying off because LeAnn Rimes scored a gig as a swimsuit model for Mikoh Swimwear. The singer showed off her taut body in a tiny bikini on the company's website, along with opening up about planning for a family and her relationship with hubby Eddie Cibrian. Rimes seems to be quite satisfied with life in general. When asked what her greatest accomplishment has been thus far in her life she responded by quoting The Notebook saying, "I've loved another with all my heart, and to me, this has always been enough." Cibrian seems equally as sappy as Rimes who has commented on his wife having the"perfect" body. The fitness-crazed celeb has usually received concern from the public of appearing too thin (probably why she got the modeling gig in the first place), but the star assures us that there is nothing to worry about tweeting, "I'm just lean...Thanks for your concern, but no need to be." - US
- Jani Lane, front man for the metal band Warrant, was found dead yesterday in a Los Angeles hotel room. The band originally formed in the early eighties and have since tried to remain active (both with and without Lane). Their biggest successes came from hit singles Heaven, Down Boys, and Cherry Pie. The singer was only 47 years old and as of right now the cause of death has not been announced. RIP Lane...you and your sound will be missed. - NY Mag
